NEW UPDATE: Thank you everyone for your support along the way. It is heartwarming to see so many members of the community rally around this cause. The London VTF was intended to be a short-term service to bridge the gap until alternatives for grocery delivery were formed. With the rise in long-term and more concrete services and solutions, we have seen a remarkable decrease in requests for our own service. Thus, we will be closing our services by July 1. In the meantime, during this transition phase, please begin forming plans for using some of the alternative options we list below.
We are a student-run volunteer task force based in London, Ontario (with chapters in Kitchener-Waterloo and St. Thomas) to help provide no-contact drop-off grocery service for those who cannot leave their homes due to self-isolation, age, or health concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic. The service will be offered to bridge the gap for as long as possible until an alternative is provided by local administrations. If you cannot leave your residence or have concerns about doing so, please feel free to fill out a request form and we will work to help you.
